In 1992 Serif Aktürk started a small scale production facility of feta cheese in Sliedrecht. This production facility soon turned out to be too small. In view of further growth and expansion, the company moved in 1995 to its present location in Etten - Leur. Currently, each year about 75 million kilograms of milk is processed into soft white cheese in brine for both the industrial market and retail channels. The products are sold worldwide.
Kaasmakerij Özgazi is characterized as an innovative dairy producing company specialized in the production of soft white cheese. With a fully automated production line Kaasmakerij Özgazi produces around 40,000 kg of cheese each day. For automated packaging of cheese in cans and jars of various sizes advanced packaging lines have been developed.
In view of further expansion and professionalization of the production facility an intensive investment program has been developed, whereby a large part of the current machinery will be renewed and replaced according to the latest technological developments. The intensive investment program allows Kaasmakerij Özgazi to be able to increase its production, to maintain its competitive position and to improve the hygiene and quality standards of its products.
