Reference: Company funding of (snow)attraction park Skidôme

In 1982 the family Broos started with the exploitation of an artificial ski track in Rucphen. The company experienced strong growth over the years. After the founders transferred the shares of Skidome to their son and daughter in law, the first indoor ski track in the Netherlands was opened (1995).

Skidôme positions itself as a pioneer and trendsetter in order to increase the frequency of visiting of its customers and to attract new customers. To anticipate on the thematic trends of attractions Skidôme developed a new complex with i.e. a new scenic winter village, second indoor track, fun park, additional ski tow capacity, indoor snow playground and an ice go-kart track.

Van Oers Corporate Finance assisted Skidôme in acquiring the funds for the expansion and exploitation of the real estate. First, Van Oers Corporate Finance performed a feasibility study. With a base of this a financial prospectus was drawn up. The chosen capital structure comprised a combination of bank funds and subordinated bonds. Van Oers Corporate Finance assisted with acquiring the bank funding and composed the prospectus to inform the bondholders.
